Chicago - Lincoln Park, Lakeview

Lincoln Park, Lakeview

Two of the most popular neighborhoods for young professionals, Lincoln Park and Lakeview are also called home by active people of all ages. With a multitude of shopping, dining, and nightlife options, there is something for everyone. Residents are well served by public transportation with the Red, Purple, and Brown Lines connecting the area along with a multitude of bus routes. With a location next to Lake Michigan, Lake Shore Drive is a major arterial road.

The Lincoln Park neighborhood owes part of its popularity to its namesake, Lincoln Park, which is the home to Lake Michigan beaches, biking/running paths, sports fields, and the famous zoo. DePaul University also calls the Lincoln Park neighborhood home. All types of housing are available with a mix of older and newer construction.

Lakeview, just north of Lincoln Park, is one of the most populated Chicago neighborhoods. It is comprised of several communities such as Wrigleyville, the home of Wrigley Field, and LGBT-friendly Boystown. In 2013, Money Magazine named Lakeview to its Best Big-City Neighborhoods list. A wide selection of housing options is available.
